About The Editor
Born in England, and with a career in the media and entertainment industry that spans more than 20 years, Conrad spent 8 years during the 1990s working in London for reputable media brands including Vodafone, Nokia, BT, Sky, BBC, and Channel 4, with many projects set in the early adoption phase of GSM, SMS, WAP, interactive TV, and PDA based apps.
In 2001, as the entire internet and media landscape lurched forward, Conrad worked in Los Angeles, New York City, and Montreal, taking up roles in consulting, product development, marketing, licensing, content acquisition, and business affairs. Clients and partners included Sony Music, NBCUniversal, Disney, Marvel, Nickelodeon, Time Warner, HBO, MTV, and CBS. Projects included building rights management platforms, the digital distribution of music and films, music rights and publishing clearance, and brand/music partnerships.
For the past 10 years, he has been working for a leading global music, media, and technology company that reaches 400 million subscribers around the world, in over 156 countries, via TV, web, apps, VOD, and OTT platforms.
Conrad is also a multi-award-winning film producer with the feature documentary “Voices of Freedom - A Road Trip To Find What Unites America,” which was released in 2020.
In 2020, Conrad launched The Bulletin, a regular briefing dedicated to the streaming media industry and community. Covering the digital TV, OTT, and IPTV space, The Bulletin serves as a news catchup and analysis, for time-poor and intelligence-hungry subscribers.
